Spotlight

“Project Access…works to lead more physicians to donate their expertise, their time and their compassion to see and treat people who might otherwise never seek out a doctor… modeled on a program that’s been a big success in the Asheville area in my native state of North Carolina. If you haven’t already, I encourage all of you to sign up."

The success of the Health Access Project depends on the generosity of our volunteers. Various opportunities are identified below:

  • Physicians and mid-level providers volunteer with KCPA by agreeing to treat a set number of HAP clients in their office.
  • Medical students can work with KCPA to complete a practicum or community project.
  • Bilingual individuals can volunteer with KCPA as medical interpreters.
  • General office volunteers are needed to answer phones, greet clients, make copies, and perform data entry and other office duties.
  • King County Project Access welcomes financial support from individuals, corporations, foundations and all levels of government. To make a tax-deductible contribution to KCPA, please mail your donation to KCPA, 200 Broadway Street, Suite 100, Seattle, WA 98122.
  • Other opportunities are always welcomed! If you have specific skills and are interested in helping KCPA in another area, please contact the KCPA office.
